2193 Chalet Brusturet in 1970s |
Built in 1969, Chalet Brustureţ is located on the eastern slope of Piatra Craiului (Prince's Stone) Mountains (a mountain range in the Southern Carpathians), at the confluence of Valea Seacă a Pietrelor (the Dry Valley of Stones), the upper course of the Brustureţul River, with Valea cu Apă (the Valley with Water), at the upstream end of Brustureţ Gorge, at an altitude of 1074m. The area is isolated and quiet, surrounded by wonderful views and fresh air.
